    Colt Model 1903 Semi-Automatic Pistol and Identification Documents Belonging to U.S. Customs Agent Alvin F. Scharff from San Antonio, Texas. Comprising: 1) Colt Model 1903 Type I Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 270460, .32 caliber, 4-inch barrel. Charcoal blue finish. Checkered hard rubber grips. 2) 1926 dated commission for agent Scharf in leather wallet. Approximately 8-inches x 14-inches. 3) U.S. Treasury Department Special Agent Service identification wallet containing Scharff's numbered I.D. and signed photo. Approximately 5-inches x 6-inches. 4) U.S. Customs Service I.D. Wallet containing four identification documents dated 1938-1949 and one photo of Agent Scharff with a Colt semi-automatic pistol in his belt. All items mounted on 15-inch x 25-inch hardwood frame with red burlap background. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg. Condition: 1) Fair to good as refinished. Retaining approximately 70-80% of an old refinish. Scattered small patches of pitting visible beneath the blue-brown patina. Signs of having been cleaned and polished. Action crisp. Bore bright with light wear. 2-4) All documents good with light age wear and fading.
