Colt Model 1902 Commercial Semi-Automatic Pistol. Second Year of Production
Serial no. 7479, .38 rimless smokeless caliber, 6-inch barrel. Nickel-plated finish. Left side of frame is marked: BROWNING'S PATENT/APR. 20, 1897/SEPT. 9, 1902. Standard Colt Hartford address. Right side of slide with: AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. 7-shot magazine which is marked: PAT'D SEPT 9, 1884. Manufactured 1904, the second year of production.

Condition: Very Good as re-finished. Retaining approximately 90-95% of a later re-nickel. Fine scratches present. Some pitting visible below the surface of the nickel. Right grip panel with short hairline crack from lower screw to bottom. Bore is good to very good with light wear and fine, light pitting. Action good but a little sticky. Has loosened some after oiling.
