Exhibited Hubbard Museum of the West.

Colt Model 1900 Semi-Automatic Pistol.

Serial no. 2563, .38 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Nickel-plated finish. Carved factory hard rubber grip panels. According to consignor notes, this gun is pictured on page 203 of Gunsmoke and Saddle Leather by Charles G. Worman, 2005. It was also exhibited at the Hubbard Museum of the West around 2001. Colt Factory letter states it shipped to Omaha, June 8, 1901 to Lee, Glass, Anderson Hardware, Co. with a shipment of 5 guns. [photocopy of letter is included].

Condition: Good as refinished. Overall showing noticeable areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to grips. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
