Cased American Historical Foundation General George Patton Tribute M1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol.
Serial no. AOC70392, .45 ACP, 4-inch barrel. Sterling silver-plated with white Ivoroid grips. Floral scroll-engraved on slide and frame with four stars on left side of slide and Patton's signature on the right. Both sides of grips marked GSP. Contained in original walnut glass top case with photo, plaque and reproduction ribbon of the Distinguished Service Cross with one oak leaf cluster awarded to Patton.
Note: Gun made by Auto Ordnance Corp. Worcester, MA.

Condition: Excellent. Showing little use. Tarnishing overall. Appears to have replaced magazine. Action good. Bore very good.
