    Boxed, Cased and Engraved Smith & Wesson Model 422 Semi-Automatic Target Pistol. Serial no. TAP0055, .22 caliber, 6-inch barrel with target sights. Blued finish. Scroll engraving on slide and frame. Right side of frame engraved with a large numeral one and 1987. Natural grips with same 1987 design on right and S&W monogram on left. Sold together with factory document confirming that serial number TAP0055 was one of 15 firearms produced as a first issue and confirming that the factory engraving was commemorating the introduction. Accompanying the lot are the original hardwood display case (with engraved top plate numbered to the gun), factory carton and shipping box.
