    Scarce Etched Panel Colt Frontier Six-Shooter Single Action Revolver together with Colt Factory Letter. Serial no. 90166, .44-40 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and frame. Varnished walnut grips. Sold together with Colt factory letter confirming configuration and a ship date of June 5, 1883. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 15-25% finish, primarily on barrel, ejector rod housing and protected areas. Some vibrant case-hardening remaining. Strong etched panel. Some scattered light spotting present. Grips retaining approximately 90-95% varnish with minor dents and blemishes. Light tracking line on cylinder. Action tight and crisp.
