    Remington New Jersey Marked Civilian New Model Single Action Army Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 86709, .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with three line address and stamped: "NJ [New Jersey]" on left side near base. Blued finish. Brass triggerguard. Frame also marked: "NJ". Varnished walnut grips. Approximately 1000 made for the State of New Jersey. Contained in black leather slim-jim holster with integral belt loop, outside lateral strap and toe reinforcement layer. Large die-cut shield-shaped law enforcement badge marked: "City/ 76/ Police" attached to outer strap. Late period safety catch.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 30-40% original blue. With scattered wear, flaking and age patina. Grips excellent with only light wear in evidence. Action crisp.
