    Description

    U.S. Starr Model 1858 Army Double-Action Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 11168, .44 caliber, 6-inch barrel. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and lever. B & K inspector marks. Right side of frame marked: "Starr's Patent Jan. 15, 1858". One-piece walnut grips with faint inspector cartouches. Good condition, retaining approximately 15-20% finish mixed with brown patina. Some screws marred. Scattered patches of fine pitting and wear overall with light tracking line on cylinder. Grip with wear and blemishes. Action functions but a bit rough.
