    U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol by R. Johnson. .54 caliber, 8 1/2-inch barrel marked at breech: U.S./E.B./P. Flintlock side plate marked: US./R. JOHNSON/MIDDN CONN/1842. Brass pan. Walnut stock with with JJC [John J. Callahan] and WAT [William Anderson Thornton] inspector cartouches with steel furniture finished in-the-white. Swivel ramrod. Condition: Fine to excellent. Steel showing minor wear and light spotting. Wood excellent with light marks. Mechanically excellent.
