Serial no. 13DD, .28 percussion caliber, 2 1/2-inch round barrel. 6-shot cylinder with etched decoration and Warner's patent marking. Frame with floral etched panels including Union shield. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth walnut grips. This is the 4th and last variation. Manufactured c 1851. Approximately 500 produced.
Good to very good. Generous amount of blue remain on the barrel. Patches of fine pitting. The balance of the steel a smooth gray patina. Action functions. Grips appear to be replacements. Period repair behind the trigger.
