    Rare Double Barrel Percussion Knife Pistol by Dumonthier & Sons.

    Approximately 13-inches overall with a 8 1/4-inch spearpoint blade. Approximately .38 caliber smoothbores with 3 1/4-inch long barrels, single action and folding trigger. Blade marked DUMONTHIER on the reverse above the barrels and BREVET XXX under the barrels. Upper quillons serve as hammers for the percussion ignition barrels. Fluted metal grips. Complete with German silver mounted leather covered tin scabbard.

    Condition: Very good to Fine with age wear and patina. Blade with spots and areas of surface pitting. Scabbard with some scuffs, mars and refreshed at some point. Left hammer does not advance the folding trigger. Action needs adjustment. Bores ok.
