    Pair of Unmarked Pair of European Percussion Pistols in Associated Case. .56 caliber, 8 ¼-inch fine Damascus octagonal barrels with dovetailed front sights and open rear sights. One narrow and one wide inlaid gold bands at breeches. Breeches with patented coined-edge brass washers. Hammer spurs finely sculpted in the form of a beaver. Hammers and lockplates engraved with woodland scenes of a hound and fox respectively and are case-hardened. Counterplates are fantastic winged grotesque heads flanked by floral scrolls. Adjustable triggers and spurred triggerguards engraved with a egret and waterfowl respectively. Handsomely engraved steel furniture, the fore-end caps with urns and floral sprays, the forward triggerguard tangs with a floral spray surmounting an oval with a gull on one gun and a landscape on the other. Checkered walnut halfstocks, the oval butts with carved scalloped floral banding. Vacant gold oval wrist escutcheons. Convex form oval pommel caps with floral motifs and rouletted bands. Hardwood ramrods with brass tips. Both guns contained in a green felt-lined associated French-style oak case, together with all accessories including: hardwood mallet, small bag flask, wooden handled screwdriver/nipple wrench combo, single ball bullet mold, cleaning rods and round ball supply. Condition: Fine to excellent as configured. Guns are fine, the furniture with light wear and spotting present. Ramrods with minor worming. Associated case very good with light wear and minor warping to left side. Accessories are fine to excellent.
