    Pair of English Brass-Barreled Flintlock Pistols by Hickin.
    Comprising: 1) Approximately .54 caliber, 8-inch octagonal brass barrel marked: LONDON. Breech with early 19th century Birmingham proof marks. Steel tang, hammer and lock all with simple foliate engraving. Lock marked: HICKIN. Engraved back lock screws. Lively grained hardwood stock with brass furniture. Engraved trigger guard with acorn finial. Hardwood ram rod with pinned horn tip. Brass pipes. 2) Same as above

    Condition: Very good to fine. Brass with a smooth, bright patina with a few light scratches. Some scattered pits near muzzle. Signs of having been cleaned. Steel surfaces with a smooth, slightly mottled age patina. Stock very good with old repairs at left side of fore-end and under ram rod. Crack to thimble. Light losses to wood behind hammer. 2) Same as #1 but with no pitting on barrel surface. Stock fine with only a 3-inch hairline crack to right side starting at muzzle. Stains on right side near muzzle.
