    London Armoury British Kerr Double Action Revolver with Anchor Inspector's Mark. Serial no. 3920 [frame and cylinder], .455 caliber, 5 3/4-inch octagonal barrel with brass post front sight. Blued finish. London proofs. L.A.C. inspector marking. Five shot cylinder. Checkered walnut grip which has very light mark reading: JS/[anchor].
    Note: According to Gary in "Confederate Revolvers" pg 139, the serial number range of Kerr revolvers shipped to the Confederacy is believed to be 3000 to 10,000 making 3920 possibly among the first shipped.
    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey age patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Wood showing, scuffs, dings and some minor loss. Loss to triggerguard at lower tang. Action needs adjustment.
