    Late 18th, Early 19th Century Unmarked Cherry Stocked American Flintlock Holster Pistol. 13 3/4" overall, 7 7/8" .60 cal. smoothbore British proofed barrel, with small dovetailed front sight blade. Brass trigger guard with narrow front and rear tangs, single long brass ramrod pipe, brass butt cap, brass trigger and brass washers under lock screws. Unengraved flat face lock plate with slight 'banana' curve, the clearly original hammer with simple tasteful engraving. Fine overall condition with the nicely patinated cherry just showing a few minor scattered dents. One lock screw possibly replaced. Nice American pistol in fine condition with lots of character.
