    Description

Late 18th Century Military Style British Flintlock Pistol. 19 1/4" overall, 12" .56 caliber round iron barrel with two proof marks. Flat lock plate marked "Tower" and the rear, and crown / GR in the center. Reinforced pan and cock. Brass butt cap, trigger guard, sideplate and single entry pipe. Walnut stock. At least partially restocked or possibly the entire stock an aged reproduction, with poorly executed forend and lock mortise, 2" chip missing under lock and rough edge on edge of pan etc. Definitely in need of some "neatening up'.
