Late 18th Century British Flintlock Holster Pistol. 13" overall, 8" thin walled, .65 caliber, smoothbore round iron barrel. Silver blade front sight on oval silver base, no barrel proofs, dovetailed rear sight, patent breech and two barrel keys. Engraved barrel tang, with brass trigger guard, ramrod pipes and ramrod tip. Iron washers under engraved lock screw heads. The flat faced lock, with reinforced pan and roller frizzen, marked "Twigg". Oval silver wrist escutcheon elaborately engraved with intertwined script initials. Walnut stock with checkered bag shaped grip and relief carving around the tang, including well defined shell, very nice. Really excellent overall condition just showing some very minor honest wear. The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
