    Description

    French St. Etienne Percussion Pistol.
    Unserialized, approximately .68 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel. Left side marked: B. 1813. Upper tang marked: M AN13. Lock marked: (diamond) surrounding S / MANUF. IMP. / DE ST. ETIENNE. (star) / G proof opposite lock. Smooth hardwood stock with brass furniture and metal ramrod. D / 19 carved to left side of stock.
    Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina, with noticeable wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings present to wood. Two cracks to each side of stock. Action good. Pitted bore.
