Description
Flintlock Pistol.Approximately .62 caliber, 11 1/2-inch round barrel with rib and marked: ROS?NTAL. Engraved lock somewhat crudely marked: ADAM/RABIZ. Triggerguard in deep relief with grotesque figures and fleur-de-lis finial. Steel butt cap similarly adorned. Tooled thumbrest over steel pins. Hardwood stock. Single brass barrel band. Decorative ram rod pipe at mid-stock.
Condition: Good as configured. Gray steel finish with scattered patches of pitting. Lock functions and is ill-fitting. Loose chip to stock behind hammer. Triggerguard also ill fitted and more recently glued in place. Ram rod pipe will not take a full length rod.
