Fine Pair of English Flintlock Pistols by Drew. Approximately .65 caliber, 7 7/8-inch stepped and swamped round polished steel barrels, each with 3 proof marks at breech and marked: I DREW LONDON. Locks are marked I+DREW. Pierced and engraved back lock with beautiful oval bust of an English woman. Engraved tang. Thumb escutcheon with possible family crest of horse head over crown. Stacked oval butt plates with floral engraved pommel. Engraved triggerguard with pineapple finials. Lively grained, carved English walnut stocks with horn-tipped hardwood ramrods. Steel thimbles.
    Condition: Very Good to Fine. Steel now mostly smooth gray patina with scattered pitting and staining. Stocks are fine with a later application of fine varnish. Each stock with a hairline crack approximately 3-inches from muzzle and associated pin stock repairs. Actions good. Dark bores, needs cleaning.
