    Description

    Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 10984, .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with single-line New York address. 5-shot cylinder with cathedral flutes. Wedge possibly replaced and wedge screw an incorrect replacement. Case-hardened hammer, lever and frame. Brass gripstrap and triggerguard assembly. Varnished one-piece walnut grips. Condition: Fair. Retaining approximately 5-8% finish, only on butt, the remaining areas showing a grey patina and patches of heavy pitting. Slight traces of case-hardening remaining on back of hammer. Grips are good to very good with light wear to relief edges. Minor gouge in right grip. Action light. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
