    Cased Pair of London Boxlock Single-Shot Pistols.
    Pair of identical pistols each approximately .45 caliber, 3-inch octagonal screw barrels with banded muzzles. Blued and case-hardened finishes. Each with crossed scepters on bottom of breech. Engraved hammers and hammer safeties. Locks engraved with panoplies and marked LONDON on the right and BRASHER on the right. Engraved triggerguards. Blank silver oval escutcheons on nicely figured walnut grips. Contained in modern hardwood case with brass fittings and key lock. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Barrels with a thin gray-brown patina. Muted case colors. Grips: Fine with light age wear and patina. Case: Fine.
