    Cased Large Allen & Thurber Dragoon Pepperbox Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 59, .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch 6-fluted barrel cluster marked: PATENTED 1837 CAST STEEL and ALLEN & THURBER WORCESTER. Blued finish. Scroll-engraved nipple skirt and frame. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Spurred triggerguard. Varnished walnut grips. Contained in purple velvet-lined partitioned walnut case together with two-cavity steel bullet mold and small, cylindrical plunger type brass powder flask. Condition: Revolver: Fine. Retaining approximately 10-15% finish, primarily on nipple skirt and frame. Grips are excellent. Action crisp. Case excellent and accoutrements are very good, showing wear and patina. Interior of case showing light wear but no fading to fabric. Exterior excellent with minor marks only. No key.
