    A Fine Caucasian Miquelet-Lock Pistol with Gold Inlay, Mid 19th Century.
    Unserialized, .40 caliber with a fine 12 1/2-inch barrel of distinct Damascus pattern and raised arabesques features to the breech and muzzle joined by three raised ribs. Makers mark present near breech. Typical iron miquelet lock for the period. Barrel decorated with gold overlay over Damascus. Great antique ivory ball butt with lanyard. Tiger striped stock with two iron barrel bands. Decorative bolt design on sideplate. Button trigger.

    Condition: Good to very good for the age of the pistol. Mottled grey patina with some traces of pitting. Inlay visible with some loses to heavy exposed areas. Stock with mars and light loses to corners. Ball butt a possible period replacement. Action good. Bore needs cleaning.
