    18th Century Spanish Miquelet Pistol Marked Cams.

    Unserialized, approximately .65 caliber, 10-inch part-round/part-octagonal barrel marked CAMS along with proof marks near breech. Molded bands at midpoint. Walnut stock with intricate and decorative engraved brass furniture throughout including a large figured head to pommel cap. Unmarked lockplate, engraved hammer and frizzen. Overall length is approximately 17-inches. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Note: Cams is a well-known maker from the Ripoll region of Spain, circa 1735.     Condition: Good to very good for its age. Metal cleaned, showing grey patina and scattered pitting overall. Wood with repairs, wear, blemishes and crack/repairs including a significant one in the forearm area. Crack is stable. Brass furniture with some separations. Marred screws. Metal sleeve missing near muzzle. Action good, bore clear but dark.
