    18th Century Brass mounted British Flintlock Holster Pistol. 13 1/2" overall with round .63 caliber smoothbore brass barrel. Barrel with two British proofs and "London" on the top near breech. Brass mounts include trigger guard, grotesque mask at butt, side plate, ramrod pipes, unengraved oval wrist escutcheon, pan and ramrod cap. Lock plate also of brass with light "Ketland / & Co." mark. Walnut stock with decorated area around the tang that included wire inlay which is now missing. Gun overall excellent showing just some honest wear with well executed replaced 2 3/4" wood sliver on left forend and several extremely well executed wood repairs under the lock, barely detectable. A very attractive and impressive British flintlock pistol.
