    German Mauser Banner Model P08 1941 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster. Serial no. 1536/u, 9mm, 4-inch barrel with dovetailed sight. Chamber marked:1941[large]. Straw finished take down lever, wide trigger and safety. Police eagle L. Safety stamped: GESICHERT. Left side of slide serialized and proofed. Right side of slide with single Reich eagle proof. Blued finish. Lanyard loop and shoulder stock lug. Two aluminum base magazines with matching numbers. No tool. Checkered walnut grips. Contained in black pigskin leather holster, the reverse marked: bdq 41. Condition: Fine as configured and partially cleaned. Moderate wear to backstrap. Retaining approximately 94-98% finish with wear to straw colored elements and some relief edges. Grips excellent with light wear. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore. Holster very good with wear to closure strap and minor scuffs. From the Collection of Douglas Smith, offered without consignor reserve.
