DescriptionFine Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver.
Serial no. 143509 (all matching except wedge), .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel. Blued finish with case-hardened frame, hammer and loading lever. Brass triggerguard. Varnished walnut grips with sharp cartouches. Inspector's initial D near the breech and on the back of the cylinder. DD marking near wedge screw. Manufactured in 1863.
Condition: Fine to excellent. Retaining approximately 80-85% original blue with scattered staining and patches of fine pitting. Safety stops are excellent. Nice case colors on frame, hammer and loading lever. Mellow but original patina to brass. Grips fine with light wear and handling. Minor and faint dents on the butt, also extend to very minor faint losses to front of grips. See online photos. Action tight. Bright bore with fine wear.
