    U.S. Smith & Wesson Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 952142 [butt, barrel and cylinder], .380 Webley caliber (S&W .38), 5-inch barrel with standard fixed sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Left side of frame above cylinder stamped: UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Smooth walnut grips. Lanyard ring. This example also marked: MADE IN USA. Guns like these were used by the British army during WWII and then returned to the U.S. as war surplus.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine pitting. Grips showing noticeable bruising, cracks and some loss around edges. Action crisp. Bright bore.
