    Description

U.S. Colt Model 1902 Alaskan Double Action Revolver.
Serial no. 47206, .45 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. ITT, 1902 and U.S. stamped to right side of frame. R.A.C. to left side of frame and triggerbow. Blued trigger with oversized triggerguard. Many believed this was to allow operation in the cold while wearing gloves, which is false. Actually it allowed for an elongated trigger to offer better leverage for double action firing. Checkered factory hard rubber grips. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1900.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish, with thinning to muzzle, scattered scratches and patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs to grips. Action crisp. Strong bore.
