    Starr Model 1858 Army Double Action Percussion Revolver.
    Serial no. 21392, .44 caliber, 6-inch barrel with standard sight. 6-shot cylinder. Frame marking: STARR ARMS CO. NEW YORK and STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15, 1856. One-piece, unmarked walnut grips. Approximately 23,000 produced between late 1850s and early 1860s.

    Condition: Very good to Fine. Retaining generous traces of original high polish blue on the frame and protected areas with the balance a mostly smooth gray-blue patina. Traces of case-coloring to hammer and trigger. Scattered fine scratches to frame. Left side with 4 small spots. One patch of fine pitting to right side of frame. Very small patch of surface rust near muzzle. Screws un-marred. Grips are fine with no losses. Light handling wear and dents at the butt. Action very good.
