    Smith & Wesson .455 Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 42894, .455 caliber (cylinder converted to .45ACP), 6 ½-inch round barrel with round blade front sight and notched rear sight. Blued. Checkered walnut grips with a gold S & W medallion. Extensively proofed with British markings, including Not English Made stamped on the frame in small letters. Top of barrel marked Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass. USA / Patented Oct.8.1901 Dec. 17.1901 Feb.6.1906. Caliber marked .455 on the left side of the barrel. Large S & W logo stamped on the right side plate. Lanyard ring attached to the bottom of the butt. After market Pachmayr grip extension.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish, with areas of wear at the high spots and muzzle. Scattered light scratched, otherwise mechanically crisp and with a bright bore.
