Remington-Rider New Model Double Action Belt Revolver.

Serial no. 5763(barrel and grip frame), .36 caliber, 6-shot cylinder, 6 ½-inch octagonal barrel with Ilion address and marked: PATENTED SEPT 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A./NEW MODEL. Blued finish. Brass trigger guard. Varnished walnut grips. Manufactured 1863-1873 in percussion with subsequent production as metallic cartridge.
