    Description

Large Frame European 6 shot .44 Caliber Pinfire Revolver C. 1865. 6" barrel with a short octagonal section at the rear before it abruptly changes to round. The left flat is marked "SVI LEFAUCHEUX" and the cylinder has the "E / LG" Belgian proof in an oval with another nearby mark. A pin front sight on a conical base is near the muzzle, but there has never been a corresponding rear sight. Retains the original ejector rod, nicely figured two piece walnut grips with a lanyard loop at the butt. There are traces of blue on the barrel, more on the frame and nearly all on the cylinder. There are a few scattered minor scratches. Crisp functioning action and an attractive gun.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
