Serial no. 332393, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel. Blued finish. Faux ivory plastic grips marked, CHICAGO SPORTS, INC. 2) Tooled black leather quick release holster from Clark of Los Angeles. 3) Gold colored die cut Chief's badge. Eagle over shield pattern marked, CHIEF/POLICE/[Tacoma city seal]/TACOMA. Reverse with safety pin catch and marked, TACOMA RUBBER STAMP CO. 4) 5 x 7-inch black and white photo portrait of Zatkovich in Tacoma Police Department uniform. Contained in brass frame. 5) Zatkovich's shooter's I.D. from 1960 National Matches Camp Perry. Cardboard in plastic with safety pin clasp. 6) Zatkovich's Civil Air Patrol Identification Card. Laminated paper. 7) Three newspaper articles interviewing Detective Zatkovich about his outstanding 26-year career in law enforcement having been a Patrolman, Detective and Chief of Police for the city of Tacoma, WA. According to Chief Zatkovich's family, he was an award winning competition shooter. " Dad achieved the proficiency of Sharpshooter, Marksman, Expert and lifetime Master with the NRA, both indoor and outdoor with .22 cal, 38cal & 45 cal pistols, competing in hundreds of state, local and international events including Camp Perry Ohio." Condition: 1) Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% original blue finish with the balance a gray patina consistent with holster wear. Bright, strong bore with traces of fine pitting. 2) Fine. Soft, clean, supple leather showing honest age wear in some softening of the basket weave pattern. 3) Excellent. Minor mark on top riband only. 4) Excellent. 5) Fine. Age wear and patina present. 6) Fair. Crack, light soiling. 7) Very good. Age wear.
