    Description

    Colt Model 1917 Double Action Revolver. Serial No. 23051, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed sights. Blued finish. Left side of barrel marked,"GUARDIA RURAL COLT D.A.45." Top of barrel with two-line Hartford address and 1905 patent date. Smooth walnut grips. Lanyard swivel.

    Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining approximately 90-95% of the re-blued finish. Rampant colt on left side of frame almost invisible. Letters on left side of barrel are soft. Muzzle wear. Scattered fine scratches to right side of frame. Dark bore with pitting. Heavy pitting to grip frame.
