    Colt Model 1889 "Navy" Double-Action Revolver. Serial no. 22558, .41 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel. Blued finish. Sideplate on right side of frame. Cylinder rotates counter-clockwise. This is the first solid-frame, swing-out cylinder Colt revolver. Manufactured 1889-1894. Checkered hard rubber factory grips. Condition: Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 45-55% original finish, the balance a smooth gray-brown patina with scattered fine scratches. Grips: Fine with micro-dents at butt. Bore good with scattered light to moderate pitting.
