    Folding Hammer, Serial number 2.

    Boxed Merwin Hulbert & Co. Medium Frame Double Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 2, .38 caliber, 3 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish with hard rubber checkered grips. Contained in original factory box. Folding hammer spur. Inside grip frame marked no. 2 and also 9239. Back of cylinder marked no. 2. Comes with letter from noted Merwin Hulbert collector/dealer O.C. Young stating rarity and features. Manufactured around 1881.
    Provenance: Ex. "Radar" Gary Burghoff Collection.

    Condition: Excellent. Showing minor wear and scuffs to finish. Some small patches of flaking near grips and barrel. Box in very good condition for its age with scuffs, mars and dents. Action good. Bore good.
