    Description

    Boxed Colt Python Double Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 17208, .357 Magnum caliber, 4-inch barrel with ventilated rib, fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. Contained in original Colt pasteboard box with literature. Manufactured in 1961.

    Condition: Good as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 90-92% finish with thinning to relief edges, noticeable handling wear and scattered pitting. Cold blue to muzzle and frame. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and dings present to grips. Action crisp. Strong bore. Box showing heavy storage wear to edges, tape repairs to ends.
