    Rogers Brothers & Co. Deringer Percussion Pocket Pistol.

    Unserialized, .44 caliber, 4-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Top of barrel marked: ROGERS BROTHERS & CO. PATENT. Scroll engraved lock [marked RICH / HOLLIS], hammer, triggerguard and butt. Smooth walnut stock. Blank oval escutcheon to top of wrist. Hinged storage compartment to butt. Wood ramrod.
    Note: Rogers & Brothers are identified as John, Evan and Charles listed from 1805 to 1846 as hardware merchants in Philadelphia, according to Flayderman's Guide.

    Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Pitted bore.
