    Pipe-Cased Pinfire Pepperbox Revolver by Deprez.
    Serial no. 6139, 7mm caliber, 2-inch, 6-shot barrel cluster. High-polish blue and case-hardened finish. Front of frame marked: DEPREZ 8TS. Folding trigger. Checkered ebony grips. Each panel marked IIIV on inside. Contained in what appears to be a period felt-lined leather-covered "pipe-case" with brass fittings. Sold together with box of Lefaucheaux 7mm cartridges. The Deprez family were gunmakers in Belgium c1840-1880.

    Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 92-96% original high polish blue. Frame with nearly all of the original case colors, the left side fading slightly. Grips Fine to excellent. Tiny sliver chip to left grip panel at corner. Action crisp. No signs of having been fired. Case is fair to good. Heavy age wear to leather. Snap closure mostly absent. Left side interior felt showing heavy dryness. Right side relined. Small pinfire revolvers in this condition are extremely rare.
