    Pair of Rare Factory Engraved Southerner Single-Shot Derringers. Comprising serial numbers 3228 and 3806. .41 caliber, 2 3/8-inch scroll-engraved and blued barrels. German silver front sights. Scroll-engraved brass spur trigger frames. Case-hardened hammers and triggers. Fire-blued swivel screws. Period factory ivory grips [made 1866 to 1873 with approximately 16,500 manufactured]. Condition: Both are excellent. Retaining approximately 80-90% finish on barrels, the frames are unfinished with correct patina, commensurate with age of items. Factory ivory grips with mellow age patina. Actions excellent.
