    Lot of Two Bar Hammer Pepperbox Pistols.
    Comprising: 1.) W.W. Marston / Union Arms Pepperbox Pistol. Serial no. 4 [frame under grips], .31 caliber, 2 3/8-inch fluted barrels. Top of bar hammer marked: THE UNION / ARMS CO. Scroll engraved frame, nipple shield and back strap. Smooth walnut grip panels. Flayderman 7B-010. 2.) Allen & Thurber Pepperbox Pistol with Dagger. Serial no. 56 [barrel and frame under grips], .34 caliber, 2 1/2-inch fluted barrels. To hammer marked: PATENTED / APRIL 16, 1845. Smooth walnut grip panels. Four-inch, three-sided dagger attached to end of barrels.

    Condition: 1.) Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Scuffs and dings present to grips. Minor loss to edge of left panel near base. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. 2.) Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings to grips. Action needs adjustment. Lightly pitted bores.
