Rosewood grips. 2) Allen and Thurber Pepperbox. Serial no. 129, .31 caliber, 3 1/4-inch barrel cluster. Worcester address on barrel. 1845 Allen's Patent on hammer. Blued finish. Scroll-engraved frame. Rosewood grips scratch numbered to gun. 3) Antique stun gun or stock pistol by Mario Cresta Hamburg. Serial no. 13, approximately 12 ga open chamber with spring-loaded bolt. Centerfire mechanism. Blued finish. Hardwood grips. Condition: 1) Good. Traces of gold wash remain on barrel and frame Traces of blue in flutes the balance a gray patina with scattered light pitting. Grips very good with just traces of varnish. Action functions. 2) Very good. Retaining approximately 20-30% original blue, the balance a plum-gray patina. Scattered patches of fine pitting. Grips very good to fine with traces of varnish. Left grip panel with hair line crack. 3) Good to very good. Generous traces of blue remain, the balance a mottled reddish-gray patina.
