CHICOPEE, MASS. Spur trigger. Silver-plated brass frame. Smooth rosewood grips. 2) Stafford Single-Shot Pistol. Serial no. 195, .22 caliber, 3 1/2-inch blued octagonal barrel, top flat marked T.J.STAFFORD NEW HAVEN, CT. Brass frame. Smooth rosewood grips. Butt marked: PATENT/APPLIED FOR. 3) Dickinson Single-Shot Pistol. Serial no. 1154, .32 caliber, 4-inch blued octagonal barrel with top flat marked:E.L.& J. DICKINSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. Creeping lever ejector. Silver-plated brass frame. Smooth rosewood grips. 4) Unmarked Single-Shot Pistol. Serial no. 1528, .30 rimfire caliber. 3 3/4-inch blued octagonal barrel. Brass blade front sight. Brass frame with spur trigger. Smooth rosewood grips. Condition: 1) Good. Retaining scant traces of blue. Frame with approximately 25-35% silver plate. Grips with approximately 30-40% varnish. Scattered nicks and handling wear throughout. 2) Good. Barrel with strong traces of blue remaining. Mellow patina to brass. Grips good with traces of varnish. Smoothed chip to base of right grip panel. Action functions. Bore with heavy wear. 3)Very good. Retaining approximately 10-20% original finish overall. Action functions. Bore with moderate pitting. 4) Good. Only slight traces of finish in protected areas. Grips with approximately 10-20% varnish and scattered dents. Action functions. Bore with moderate pitting.
