    Cased Pair of Pepperbox Pistols.
    Comprising: 1.) Engraved Allen's Pepperbox Pistol. Unserialized, .32 caliber, 3 1/2-inch barrel cluster. Top hammer marked: ALLEN'S PATENT / 1845. Light scroll engraved frame. Smooth hardwood grip panels. 2.) Engraved Manhattan Pepperbox Pistol. Unserialized, .31 caliber, 3 3/8-inch barrel cluster marked: MANHATTAN F.A. MFG. NEW YORK. Scroll engraved frame. Smooth hardwood grip panels. Contained in custom display case with green felt lining and plaque reading: SIX BARREL CLUSTERS / PAIR OF "PEPPERBOX" PISTOLS / (GOLD RUSH OF 1849). Top of case features an image of a pepperbox pistol.

    Condition: Good. Each finish a smooth grey patina with noticeable wear and surface pitting present. Heavy scuffs and dings to grips. Actions function. Moderately pitted bores. Normal storage wear to case.
