    Description

    Composite U.S. Colt Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 120437 [frame]; 120437 [triggerguard]; 49842 [butt], .45 caliber, 7½-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address. "D.F.C." and letter "P" markings on bottom of barrel. Three-line patent dates. U.S. markings on left side of frame. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and frame. Period replacement varnished walnut grips. Aftermarket lanyard ring.

    Condition: Good to very good as configured. Retaining traces of blue finish, primarily in cylinder flutes and protected areas. Hammer and frame retaining faded case-hardening. Grips are period replacements and are showing minor chips to toes and light wear. Action excellent.
