    Colt Frontier Six-Shooter Single Action Revolver Together with Rare Al Furstnow Shoulder Holster. Serial no. 143627, .44-40 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address and roll-stamped legend reading: Colt Frontier Six-Shooter. Blued finish. Case-hardened frame. Rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Contained in original accompanying western shoulder holster of russet brown leather with maker's mark in upper right corner reading: Al Furstnow/Miles City, Mont. Sold together with Colt factory letter confirming configuration and showing gun shipped to Simmons Hardware Co., St Louis, Missouri on March 15, 1892 in a shipment of 10 firearms.
    Condition: Revolver: Good. Retaining approximately 10-15% finish primarily in protected areas. Light pitting on cylinder and recoil shield. Traces of case-hardening remaining in protected areas of frame. Grips with light wear. Left grip with three notches carved in butt. Action crisp. Holster: Very good. Showing scattered scuffs and wear. Spring steel clip with seam separations to leather and crossover back strap missing.
