    Description

    Cased Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter. Serial no. 85355 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Three-line, three-date patent. Left side of triggerbow marked: 45 CAL. Smooth walnut grip panels. Contained in wooden display case with blue felt lining. Letter confirms serial number and caliber. Lists shipment date of May 4, 1883 to Hartley & Graham, New York, New York. Manufactured in 1883.

    Condition: Restored by Dave Lanara, excellent as refinished. Overall showing light handling wear and fine pitting. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Action crisp.
