    Description

World's Columbian Exposition: Two Passes. Burlington, Iowa, once folded at the center and minor foxing at the right edge, including: a very scarce yellow press pass dated August 10, 1893 for the Hawkeye newspaper of overall, excellent condition and a pass good for only one admission made out to a Miss Mills, once folded, with the word "Pass" in a red scrolled circle. A pass that is quite scarce as it was the type likely used when someone of importance or a friend of an executive showed up and needed instant entrance. From the collection of Norm Bolotin.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
